Here's the 1st model and concept animation for the CG version of the Lying Figure creature. It will play a secondary set element in some takes for background footage.

OST Cancelled

Bad news,
I'm afraid that the OST recording has been cancelled because we have problems about creative differences with the composer, Pablo Olivas. We have decided to use the original score composed by Akira Yamaoka for the games and also some tracks composed by Samantha Dean and Christopher So (Broken Notes Band).
Soon we can upload the complete tracklist as you can download it.

BROKEN NOTES Teaser Trailer

1st Art for Brookhaven Hospital

Here're the first render of the CG model for the Brookhaven Mental Sanatorium from Silent Hill. Is still necessary to fix some texture imperfections and add more detailed elements (fencing, trash, pipes...). It's modeled with Sketchup Pro 6 and rendered with OpenGL. Next versions will be rendered with VRay for more realistic lights and textures.

Abstract Daddy

This is the "Abstract Daddy Creature". It's made on PVC, wood, ceramic, glue & cloths. It will be implemented with Stop Motion Technic like the other one creature (Flesh Lips)

Here are some pics with the final draft & modelling of the "Flesh Lips Creature". It's made on PVC, wood & ceramic. It will be oversized, implemented in the footage with Green Screen Key and animated with Stop Motion Technics.

Broken Notes Score strolls between great composers

In this two pics we see Fernando Velázquez (composer for El Orfanato) looking at all the rarities in Broken Notes Score, and it seems he liked it so.

And if it were already a lot of things rare music, he told me a lot more to do more morbid music

(specially with cellos), so we must devote to him the parts with cellos in the OST. Also looked at the music notes John Scott (Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Anthony & Cleopatra), Bruce Broughton (Silverado, The Secret Of The Pyramid, Dallas) and Kevin Kaska (usual orchestrator for John Williams, Hans Zimmer, John Frizzell, John Debney...)

We hope after this the music will be better, xD. I hope you like the pics and hurry for the postproduction team!

Starts the editing +3rd Movie Poster

We start to edit all the captured footage, that will take a couple of weeks. After that, special effects technic, Daniel Cantó, will etalone it, add the photographic filters and various CG implements.
